After completion of LLB from Calcutta University, in 2001, started practicing as a Lawyer on the Civil Side. Joined Service on 16.04.2005, in the cadre of Civil Judge (Jr. Division). Completed Masters Degree in Law (LLM) in the year 2010 during service. Served in the capacity of Judicial Magistrate at Howrah & Aliporeduar and as Munsif at Krishanagar before getting promoted. Served as Civil Judge (Senior Division)/ Assistant Session Judge at Malda, besides acting as Secretary District Legal Services Authority at Malda and also acted in the capacity of ACMM at Kolkata & CJM at Howrah before being promoted to Additional District Judge, FTC at Bardhaman.  Selected to the cadre of District Judge (Entry Level) in year 2019 and served as Additional District & Sessions Judge, POSCO court at Lal Bagh, Murshidabad and Special Judge at CoochBehar.

Joined National Green Tribunal, Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata on 30.11.2024 as Registrar.
